Named after the bright green African snake, Boomslang is a 1930s coupe-inspired hotrod. It blends classic proportions with a hand-forged aluminum body, an LS3 V8 and modern underbody aerodynamics in carbon fiber.
The goal of the project was to push surface modeling in Solidworks, utilizing the latest bezier spline tools to achieve A-class surfaces with G3 continuity across complex patched surfaces. The car was entirely modeled in a single part file, including all details, wheels and tires.
